Biome Project
Instead of having a major test for this Unit, students will be completing a research project. The following documents will provide guidance in this challenging, independent project. All students will have 3 days of in class research. Following the 3 days students will learn how to use iPhoto to create a photo, storybook depicting travel in their chosen biome. They will have 3 days to work in class to complete their iPhoto book.
Students will have daily research and page goals to complete in class, and will be directed to complete the goals for homework or during advisory if they did not complete the in class work. I will be checking student progress daily as well as assisting with finding information/resources. The major web resources available to students are bookmarked on the classes Diigo page. Students should use these resources first!!
