Virtual Zoo- Research Project
Objective: Animals are the largest and most diverse group of organisms in the current classification system. Invertebrates and vertebrates have a variety of body plans and adaptations to help them survive. Explore the diversity of animals by researching and examining one animal sub-group. Identify body plan of that group, adaptations, and key characteristics that distinguish those organisms from other groups. We will use this research to create a virtual zoo, showing and describing the diversity of animals.
You will have 2 days (Monday and Tuesday) in class to work on the research document. You will then have 2 days (Wednesday and Thursday) to turn the information found in the document into your virtual zoo submission. You will electronically submit your part of the virtual zoo by end of the day Thursday.
